The Eagles Are Still Flying High

For those of you who follow such things, the CSC Eagles - ranked No. 2 in the nation in Division II football - got a bye in the first round of the playoffs and will host a game at home on Saturday, Nov. 24. Oh yea, I'll be there with bells on!

In the final game of the regular season (Nov. 10), they beat Adams State 58-0 and the fleet-of-foot Danny Woodhead played a full half (after missing 3 games due to a foot injury), and brought his career total rushing yards to 7,684. I do believe Danny has done more CSC football, and CSC in general, than any other player in the history of the college...it is because of him that Chadron, Nebraska, and Chadron State College are both in the news, and folks know where and what they are.

After you have your fill of Thanksgiving turkey and the after-Thanksgiving Division I college football games, come on up to Chadron and spent an afternoon watching the best damn football you'll see for a while. GO EAGLES!
