We introduced Torsten to Sprocket this weekend. Sprocket was intrigued, but a little befuddled.
Having a grandbaby in my life is such a wonderful gift. It gives me a whole new perspective, and at 50 that's a welcome thing. Sprocket taught me to live in the moment and to never take the gifts of nature for granted. Torsten has made me refocus on that "living in the moment" thing and realize that there is NOTHING more important at any given moment than watching my little grandson just BE. Babies are amazing gifts to all who are privileged enough to share them....
So, little ones, while you are pondering the complexities of "what IS it?!", take some time to just let it BE and to just BE yourselves. BEING is believing, don'tcha think?

Today is one of those "best days ever," little ones. Today my grandson was born! Torsten Lee Blunt Butterfield, 9 lbs. 13 oz., 21 inches (his momma Allison is a trooper!) was born to Austin and Allison at around 2pm on Feb. 8, 2008. And if course he is the most magnificent little boy in the universe! :)
Yep, the gods are smilin' today....
