Ghosts of 2006

As we stand on the cusp of a new year, it is time to reflect on the year that was 2006. Needless to say, the most pivotal event of 2006 for me was the fires that threatened my little town last summer. What that in mind, I give you "A Spotted Tail Christmas Tree." This little tree was cut down from within the Spotted Tail burn area to commemorate the fires of 2006:

Look upon its burned branches and be thankful for, and aware of, every single moment in your life...cuz' it can truly all go up in flames in a heartbeat.

So, my little ones, may 2007 bring you moments of joy and wonder, good health, and no fires....
